One of the top-of-the-mind highlights is how we (trainees) were given the freedom to plan & design the projects ourselves - timely support was provided by our guides, but at no point were they imposing their plans or ideas on us.

Another thing I appreciated a lot is the rational manner in which discussions took place through which many of my suggestions/plans during the project were accepted or declined.

 

I would say Marico is a great place to do your summer training because they really respect their summer trainees and their work".

It was really flattering to know that Marico took all the projects very seriously with a high focus on implementation wherever feasible." I have observed that at Marico, one always sets high benchmarks & aspires to be the best, which is really heart-warming.

I have also understood the value of a committed and passionate effort. Furthermore, the project also got me to meet extremely work-committed people like my guide and the entire Sales team - right from the Field Fore to the Regional Head. It has even taught me that a belief and persistence towards an objective can overcome any hurdle. Indeed, an excellent learning.

At Marico you are not an intern but an employee. You are taken care of as a part of Marico family. And that is what instilled me with a fiery desire to contribute to the fullest.

The projects handled by interns are of utmost importance to the company and one even gets to present them to the crème-de-la-crème of the company. "It's an unforgettable experience and the two months only leave you yearning for more".
